Help wanted!

We're looking for talented, passionate artists and engineers to help make our BETA as successful as possible, and accelerate our march towards a 1.0 release. The following roles are available for immediate contribution:

  • Environment artists

Familiarity with NetRadiant or other Radiant flavors will serve you well as you create new deathmatch arenas or help us finish some of the many we currently have in our pipeline.

  • Texture artists

Flex your Photoshop muscles and create high-resolution, jaw-dropping environment, weapon and item textures, HUD elements, and player model skins that artfully align with our tribute to one of the greatest families of games ever made.

  • Programmers

Got code? Those eager and with a strong understanding of game physics and gameplay logic, or a solid grasp on OpenGL 2.0 and c, would make excellent additions to our already strong team. Windows development is a plus, as we're a bit short on that side.

Interested parties can either post here, or preferably, contact us in #quetoo on irc.freenode.net.

I obviously haven't been here in a long while, so imagine my surprise when I discovered the username "Panzer" was already taken...then even MORE surprised that the idiot that took that name uses the same password I use most of the time...hmm

Anyway, I'm back for the moment and I must say, the pics of the maps look incredible. I had mentioned to Jester a few years back that it would be nice to map for a game with the detail of Doom 3, but still keep that familar Quake 2 feel...and voila...this is what we have in Quake2World.

I'll look over the downloads and refamiliarize myself with the tools.
