Hate to be a party pooper, but the snapshot of Q2W had Generations Arena models. After visiting the Generations Arena forums, I found that these are stolen (apparently). You better get rid of them or Wirehead Studios will intervene. I am completely serious about this! And if this was supposed to be a well-kept secret, oooops!

I usually verify my sources before I accuse people of stealing things.

I've been in touch with Wirehead Studios; in fact we hashed this all out over 18 months ago. Wirehead knows that some of their media appears in the Quake2World development version that is for preview use only, and they are not concerned with the current arrangement. Indeed, on the screenshots pages, it is clearly spelled out that certain media is copyright of Wirehead Studios. And Quake2World will never be officially released with any Wirehead media included.

So you can be as serious about this as you want. Sorry, I'm sure you were looking for some e-drama.

Sorry about that, I had no clue you guys had an agreement with Wirehead Studios...I feel like a total idiot, oh well... Are you planning to remodel the weapons, or just skin them, cause I could do the skins.

We're in the process of replacing them all with original content. We do need texture artists. If you'd like to contribute, hop on the IRC channel and get ahold of myself or Ingar. We'll be happy to bring you up to speed.
