[Solved] Delayed Sound problem

Hi Everyone=]
First and foremost thank you for such a great game.

As of recently, I've been having this problem in q2w, where the sounds of guns and explosions(etc) takes place a few seconds after the phenomena(shooting, etc) has happened. I have reinstalled and updated my sound drivers, to no avail.

I would appreciate any help to fix this problem, thank you!

just run update.bat again
I fixed the sound issue.

Hi everyone!!

ANyone and everyone who is experiencing the sound delay proble mentioned above, here is a fix:

http://trak.mercenariesguild.net/tmp/sdl.zip

Just place that into your folder after you update your q2w, as updating it prior to placing it in your folder will overwrite the .dll's, from what I am lead to believe.
I can't help but give thanks to TRaK for helping me figure this out.
